We begin with a heart warming and connected Cacao ceremony, working with this gentle yet powerful plant consciousness we open our hearts to the wisdom within, connect to our true nature and each other before we move into a transformative dance! The wonderful Olly Boon aka DJ flying tree with guide us on a dance journey like no other! Global beats medicine music & tropical sounds abound this is a shake down and alchemical journey to align and move our body temples. We move then into a 432hz crystal sound immersion…a chance to retune, realign and relax into the pure tones of the crystal singing bowls as we vibrate into bliss. PREPARATION before a Cacao ceremony: It is wise to steer clear of caffeine, dairy & alcohol for a few hours prior to drinking cacao. Please drink plenty of water! Hydration is super important as water is an amazing conductor! If you find you have a headache you may be dehydrated, drank too much cacao, or are detoxing with cacao’s assistance. Antidepressants with MAOIs contraindicate with cacao and can lead to severe headaches. Doses will be adjusted accordingly. Why 432 hz? Since 1953 all of our music worldwide has been tuned to the standard concert pitch of A=440 Hz as agreed and promoted by the International Standards Organization (ISO) . Before this point, through ancient times most instruments… native flutes, sitars, didgeridoos were all tuned to 432 hz. Even with just 8hz difference it is said that the 440hz tuning may create disharmony in our systems, when we look at the vibratory nature of the universe and cymatics, it's a clear possibility that this pitch is not harmonious with the natural resonance of nature and could cause less than desirable effects on our behaviour and consciousness. The benefits of re tuning ourselves to the universal harmonics of nature are profound…working with the 432 Hz is said to be mathematically consistent with the patterns of the universe. It is said that 432 Hz vibrates with the universe’s golden mean PHI and unifies the properties of light, time, space, matter, gravity and magnetism with biology, the DNA code, and consciousness. In this harmonic resonance session we will be working with 7 Quartz Crystal Singing bowls all tuned to this 432hz Scale, we work with sacred geometry and Pythagorean intervals to create peace and harmony in our systems. All levels and abilities are welcome in this 1.5 hour yoga workshop with Strawberry. We will start with an energising vinyasa flow sequence where the focus will be on opening the chest and the hip area, spending some extra time in each area creating more space, supporting the body in releasing any stagnant energy. The hips are said to be our centre of joy, the more our hips are open the more joy we can then welcome into our lives. The chest area can be a place where we can store unresolved grief, by using a set of movements we will gently support the body in letting go of any old energy making way for the new. We will finish off this session with a deeply relaxing yoga nidra, you will lay down for around 20 minutes and guided into a deep state of what’s called “yogic sleep”. Yoga nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage, typically induced by a guided meditation. Yoga Nidra helps relieve stress and works with the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system regulates processes of the body that take place without a conscious effort (heartbeat, breathing, digestion and blood flow). This system also includes the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Meditation helps us calm the sympathetic nervous system; mainly, our fight-or-flight response, “We do a meditation practice to basically calm the sympathetic, or fight-or-flight and activate the parasympathetic more. There’s such a benefit when those are balanced overall for immunity, digestion and stress management. But in this deeper relaxation, the pineal gland is activated and that releases the hormone melatonin.” Melatonin is a powerful antioxidant. It can also help manage immune function, blood pressure, cortisol levels and induce restful sleep. We look forward to seeing you at this session.

Star is a trained Laughter PLAY Therapist and since 2016 has been facilitating laughter sessions in the local community, and at festivals i.e. BuddhaField, Conscious Connection Camp, One Heart Festival, Tantra Festival, local Wellness Fayres etc. Star works with diverse groups in the community bringing much love and laughter to others; children and parents, young people, mental health settings, learning disabilities, spiritual development groups etc Since 2016 she has been facilitating the popular Giggle & Connect sessions in the local community and would like to expand her experience/share more laughter to a greater audience. Now she is bringing the Laughter Word online and to festivals 2022. Time to start a Giggle Revolution! Hehe :0)))) Each Giggle & Connect online or community/festival session is created to get people laughing to help reduce stress, improve health, wellbeing, enhance happiness, feel more connected to others, have more confidence etc. When you take part in a laughter workshop/session you get a release of endorphins, giving you a “feel good” factor; the whole body relaxes and stress/tension is reduced. The aim is to have fun, have a laugh, and be creative. You also get an aerobic exercise, as laughter tones your muscles, improves your respiration, and give your immune system a boost. I will be offering two workshops for this festival for Adults only and Children/families. I am super excited to be bringing my Laughter PLAY work to the festival field again. Creative Forest Bathing I, Clare, as your guide will offer a series of invitations, these invitations open up our senses to begin. We work with up to 8 senses. Dropping into our bodies we explore the natural environment in a way akin to a child. Wonder and awe often prevail, or as it said in Zen Buddhism- we adapt beginners mind. From this more spacious place we often drop into liminality. Our relationship with the forest unifies and this may lead to deeper insights and knowing’s. This place of consciousness is also where healing can occur. Throughout the practise there will be several poetry readings, allowing us to shift from the rational mind into a broader creative awareness.

At this 2-hr workshop, you will learn and understand how our painful past keeps us in old habits and stuck in loops. You may have found like me that no matter how much you try and talk yourself into changing, you just can’t seem to sustain that change, this is becuse past programming data is held in your body and NOT in ONLY in your head. I’ll be teaching you how the breath, body and nervous system are connected and together they hold on to and trap our past emotional data, repressed memories and emotional trauma. This is not pranayama, mindfulness, or meditation, Its conscious connected breathwork with knobs on. After working with clay for many years, I’ve found that the clay usually knows what it wants to be, and I just need to uncover it and take away the excess. This workshop will start with a meditation whilst holding a ball of clay, we will go on a short journey to discover what it might want to be. We will then allow the process of forming the clay to happen without worrying about the outcome. In this way, the whole process becomes a calm and nourishing activity that helps you escape your busy mind. You can keep your finished piece or swap it with another’s if you wish.

Join Strawberry for this Chest and Hip opening vinyasa flow sequence open to any level of fitness, finishing off with a deeply relaxing yoga Nidra guided meditation.

All levels and abilities are welcome in this 1.5 hour yoga workshop with Strawberry. We will start with an energising vinyasa flow sequence where the focus will be on opening the chest and the hip area, spending some extra time in each area creating more space, supporting the body in releasing any stagnant energy. The hips are said to be our centre of joy, the more our hips are open the more joy we can then welcome into our lives. The chest area can be a place where we can store unresolved grief, by using a set of movements we will gently support the body in letting go of any old energy making way for the new. We will finish off this session with a deeply relaxing yoga nidra, you will lay down for around 20 minutes and guided into a deep state of what’s called “yogic sleep”. Yoga nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage, typically induced by a guided meditation. Yoga Nidra helps relieve stress and works with the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system regulates processes of the body that take place without a conscious effort (heartbeat, breathing, digestion and blood flow). This system also includes the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Meditation helps us calm the sympathetic nervous system; mainly, our fight-or-flight response, “We do a meditation practice to basically calm the sympathetic, or fight-or-flight and activate the parasympathetic more. There’s such a benefit when those are balanced overall for immunity, digestion and stress management. But in this deeper relaxation, the pineal gland is activated and that releases the hormone melatonin.” Melatonin is a powerful antioxidant. It can also help manage immune function, blood pressure, cortisol levels and induce restful sleep. We look forward to seeing you at this session.
