Main Marquee CC MAY 2025
Star and Eliza are coming together to facilitate a workshop blending laughter and somatic movement to support people to release and let go of stuck emotions in the body. Aligning this with the healing power of laughter. Laughter PLAY aims to get people laughing in groups or individual sessions and can help reduce stress, improve health, wellbeing, enhance happiness and give you more confidence. "Star is a trained Laughter PLAY Therapist and since 2016 has been facilitating laughter sessions in the local community, and at festivals i.e. BuddhaField, Conscious Connection Camp, One Heart Festival, Tantra Festival, Love Herder, Youthoria, local Wellness Fayres etc. Star works with diverse groups in the community bringing much love and laughter to others; children and parents, young people, mental health settings, learning disabilities, and spiritual development groups" "Eliza is experienced in doing somatic movement and meditation. She would like the opportunity to support others to do exercises in regulating the emotional body and releasing stuck emotions with the ease of movement. She is passionate about helping others and enjoys talking circles, nature, sound baths, and kundalini dancing"
Join us as we call in the goddesses, gods, ancestors, guardians, and elementals of this magnificent, magical land. For over a decade, the Conscious Camp Community has been deeply connected to this land. I have been visiting since 2016, joining gatherings and raising my three amazing boys in a loving community. These fields, trees, and the sacred waters of the River Dee have held us safely as we grew, grieved, healed, celebrated, and transformed into the incredible beings we are today. A Walk of Gratitude and Connection This walk offers a perfect opportunity to reconnect with the land and express our gratitude. Through offerings, we acknowledge the land’s support—through the good, the bad, the celebrations, the dance, and the fun. We recognize the profound impact this journey has had on us all. If you are new to Conscious Camp, this is a beautiful chance to introduce yourself, connect with the community and land, and speak your prayer for your journey on this land. The Journey Beginning at the river: We will start with three magical Awens to activate our senses. Walking in silence: We will tune into a deeper level of communication with Mother Earth—feeling, seeing, hearing, sharing, and receiving. Midway pause: Breaking the silence, we will offer our gratitude through land art, song, and poetry. Water blessing: We will complete our journey by stepping into the river, chanting in Welsh, and offering a water blessing. What to Bring Towel Swimsuit Water shoes Let’s walk together in reverence, gratitude, and deep connection with the land.
I never lose, I either win, or I learn (Nelson Mandela). Metaphorically we have all at some point in our lives burnt the toast, and no doubt we all will again. But what does this mean? All of our experiences make us who we are. A negative experience or a mistake can in fact be used in a positive way. The reality is that there are actually no negatives at all. Or are there…? (Zen philosophy). One thing this session will do is to encourage you to think for yourself. Bring along your burnt toast and together we can each begin to unravel the answers. The workshop will be delivered in two parts, firstly a zen meditation, in which we will sit quietly and reflect on a number of given subjects about ourselves and the wider world within and around us. The second half of the session will build on this with an open discussion, encouraging a philosophical viewpoint on a range of themes. All of the topics will be deep but respectful and inoffensive. We will learn not only how to better understand ourselves, but also to hear and understand the viewpoint of others. But most of all, the session will show and encourage you how to think for yourself. So why did I burn the toast? Come along to the session to find out…
Do you have trouble saying no? Or maybe find yourself being treated a bit like a doormat by loved ones or just don't feel as respected and seen as you would like to be. In this one hour workshop you will learn how to access different archetypal energies in your body to shape your reality and feel respected, seen and able to receive whilst holding your vision for the world.
The 5Rhythms practice is a movement map which invites each of us to explore our dance in our own unique way. There are no steps to follow. We are encouraged instead to let go into different movement explorations and allow ourselves to be danced. The intention is that everyone can move in this way, regardless of age, fitness or physical ability. The 5Rhythms are Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. They are universal patterns which we explore in our dance. Each Rhythm invites us to embody our dance in a different way and together the Rhythms offer endless movement possibilities. The first half hour of a 5Rhythms class is spent warming up to music. This is a time for each of us to do what we need to do to arrive and begin to connect with our dance. Some time is then spent moving our attention through our different body parts. For the main part of the class we move through the map of the 5Rhythms following guidance from the teacher and supported by music. We dance alone and we are also invited at times to dance with another or in a group if we want to. Teachers play a wide variety of musical genres and moods selected to support our dance, from wild and funky to gentle and slow.
Voice Medicine: a journey into YOUR unique sound Everything in the universe is vibration and we can change our inner state through our voice. Join Joi to explore your unique transformative instrument- your voice. Bring curiosity, kindness and courage to uncover your hidden treasure. With warm-ins, chakra toning and vocal journeying. Your voice will never be the same.
Kirtan is the sacred practice of singing mantras, which comes from bhakti yoga – the yoga of love and devotion. Singing these mantras can really help us to open up our hearts and enter deep states of bliss and transcendence, helping to shift any emotional or energetic blocks that we may be carrying. Singing is such a great way to release those feel-good endorphins and express who you truly are, helping you to feel relaxed and at peace. Focusing on the words, there is little room for your mind to wander, so you can drop down into your heartspace with relative ease. Everything in this world – whether it be solid, liquid or gas – is simply vibrating energy. We can use the resonant power of certain mantras as a form of sound healing to realign our bodies and connect to something larger than ourselves, releasing and transmuting any energetic blockages. The Sanskrit language is particularly powerful because each word is imbued with such healing resonant energy, as are the mantras from the Sufi tradition. So come along and heal yourself through the power of your own voice. The throat, they say, is a bridge between the mind and the heart. Bring yourself back into alignment and experience the blissful oneness that chanting can evoke.

REaqaint with TimREaqaint is a conscious movement practice that harmonizes the nervous system and opens the heart. It uses: 1. gentle movement 2. acupressure 3. primitive reflexes 4. nurturing self touch. These are simple take home practices that restore the nervous and adrenal system bringing us in to calm balance. If you’re down, it brings you up. If you’re up it brings you down – homeostasis. It draws on my experience as a Physiotherapist, somatic body worker, pranic energy therapist and conscious dance facilitator. It was actually designed to support people who are following my 1 year conscious dance journey to offer a greater level of support and to connect deeper with their bodies. It’s about slowing down to meet your adrenal and nervous system exactly where it’s at. REaquaint re-establishes a connection with the body which we have lost. Put simply, we learn how to, once again, hear our bodies needs, and respond accordingly. Using simple techniques of touch and movement, we slowly bring ourselves in to harmony and regulation. It’s is a combination of: -Conscious Movement and body awareness -Acupressure done with corresponding visualization -Nurturing self touch -Parasympathetic (rest and digest) activities and postures Tips to regulate socially.19:30 - 21:30

Natural Body IntelligenceWe have lost our ancient knowledge of how to heal the body. We rely on big pharma to call the shots, literally. Their stronghold on the health system started when they paid Luis Pasteur to fake his results and create germ theory. This is been debunked thousands of time in books and films but still people trust it. In this talk you will learn how the bodyworks and how to start its self healing mechanisms. All illness are reversible if not degenerative.10:30 - 12:00
